2009 Halloween Competition

Hi Everyone,

I’m so excited for Halloween and to announce our new competition idea. This competition will be centered on Halloween and will be judged by the club members. There will be only ONE winner and that winner will get an awesome prize, TBD. We also have an
easier way of getting the photos online. Pay attention because this
has to be done right to work! Here are the details.

Theme: “Halloween”. We want anything from kids trick or treating to picking out pumpkins to scary graveyard scenes. Do whatever, as long as it is Halloween themed.

Once you have your shot, make sure it is in Jpeg format and at least 1000px wide. It must be YOUR image. You may put a non-intrusive watermark on the photo if you want, but do not have to. You may submit only ONE entry.

Email your photo as an attachment to [e-mail]

In the subject line type: Halloween Comp

In the body of the message write the title of your image.

Now for the fun….voting. To see the entries click below (it is empty now) http://photographix.ning.com/photo/photo/search?q=Halloween+Comp or do a search for Halloween Comp. Each member will have up to THREE votes. Leave your vote as a comment. You can say
something like, “first choice”, “second choice”, etc or you can
just mention that you are voting for this particular photo.

Here are the dates to remember: All entries must be sent in by end
of day November 2nd, 2009. “Official” voting will take place
from November 3rd to 6th. On the morning of the 7th, we will
name the winner. Remember, winner will receive and AWESOME prize.
