Photographix

For Photographers of All Skill levels since 2005

Hi Everyone,

For June, I thought we could celebrate fathers. (Sorry, I didn't get the idea for Mother's Day).

So, June's topic will be Fathers and is open to any type of interpretation.

Please send ONE entry as an attachment to photographixclub@gmail.com
Include the title of your entry and your user ID
Entries must be received by 11:59pm on June 21st (Father's Day)

For complete competition rules, please go to:

http://photographix.ning.com/forum/topics/competition-guidlines

Once all of the entries are received, I will post them to a gallery for everyone to see. The entries will be judged for first and second place and a club's choice.

All winners will be featured at the Davis County Fair. First place will also be featured on the website.

Any questions, contact Summer Derrick.

Thanks,
Summer

Congratulations to Scott Smith, Jenn Daley and Robin Johnson. These are the winners of our June photo competition.

1st Place – “A Father's Kiss” by Scott Smith. He will be featured on the website and will be able to display his winning photo at the Davis County Fair!

2nd Place – “Tenderness” by Jenn Daley. She will also be able to display her winning photo at the Davis County Fair!

Club’s Choice – This was a very close one but the winner is, “Daddy’s Little Angel” by Robin Johnson. She will also be able to display her winning photo at the Davis County Fair!

Thanks to all who entered! We had some great shots. Check your inbox for your critique from the judges.

Also, just a side note about how the judging process works-

Three judges are asked to choose the five best images and rank them from one to five.
The results of all three judges are combined to determine final placement.
A first and a second place are awarded based on these results.

Club's Choice is awarded based on the number votes that you, the member, submit via email.
