I just moved into the Salt Lake area about 2 months ago. I love the nature and proximity of it here! I really enjoy being able to get out on hikes so quickly.
I was born into photography. But still feel like an beginner as I recently picked up a good DSLR and have decided to take my photography seriously. I'm planning on studying it at SLCC in the fall and hope to put together my own photography business.
I have been doing a photo journal at blipfoto.com. Some more of my stuff can be found on flickr too.
I'm stoked to find this group and hope to be able to make it out to some of the events.

- The NW is an interesting place for sure!! I was born and raised in the desert so I try to get back there as much as possible. I guess you could say i'm bit of a desert rat... Your photos are pretty neat BTW
