Great photos. #4 is my favorite. The only thing I'd like to see, is the light on the bottom 2 fingers on his right hand is a bit too harsh, maybe tone it down next time, or move it a little to get a more even lighting. #3 is cute, the shadow on the…

Nice shot! I've only been in the (semi) right place at the right time once for some lightning shots, and it was pretty far away, so I feel similar to Rusty.

That is pretty cool. My question now is: was that intentional, or just a happy coincidence :)?

hahaha I like the "other option". I usually pack more than just my camera when I'm doing shoots at night...

I enjoy the over all composition here. Well done from the tracks leading to the spiral and just enough sky to make it interesting.

Jeff, thanks for your comment about Sand Hollow. That's cool you did your sister's bridals down there. I really like that place, too! You have some wonderful waterfall pictures. I am still trying to learn how to make the water look smooth.

Ah the D90. Im holding out for a D2x or D300(used of course) for a few forgiving MP and Im changing my lens line up a bit. Im tinkering with letting my 10.5 fish go along with the 300/4 AFS to maybe add a 80-200/2.8 also and just rent a 400/2.8 for the eagles next year. You need more than 300mm even with TC.

I gave up on bogley a while back after I realized it was just the summit42 and carpeybiggs fan club. Enough of that though, I found the nikoncafe in the interim and I usually reside there or here. You still shooting with the D70s? Some great shots as usual on your page. Going to have to get a chance to get out and shoot with you one of these days.
