Little Angel

My wife decided to pull out our Halloween/fall decorations this past Sunday. Now that fall is here she wanted to have a fall theme for some frames that are hanging on our wall. After looking through my photo library I couldn’t find anything that would work so I asked if she wanted a Halloween themed portrait. After telling her about my idea for a ghostly image next to a head stone she ha… Continue

Utah Strobist - Great Salt Lake '09

Last week the Utah Strobist group got together out near the Salt Lake Marina for a little off camera lighting event. The idea was to have models there for us to photograph and for everyone to share information with others ways/styles to use off camera lighting. "The bald eagle was chosen June 20, 1782 as the emblem of the United States of America, because of its long life, great strength and majes… Continue

Steam Engine Rolls into Ogden Union Station

This weekend Union Pacific's #844 Steam Engine will be rolling into Ogden. It's one of the largest steam engines ever built. It will be stopping in Ogden for three days then departing Monday up Weber canyon to Cheyenne. It was in Ogden last month and I was able to go see it when it left town. It was amazing to see all the steam and to hear the big steam engine. I did a blog post about it yesterday with photos… Continue
