I have a cabin in Island park and I get into Yellowstone 4-6 times a year, My favorite thing to do is to get into Lamar Valley just before sunrise, It is the best spot in the park for Grizzlies and Wolves, I usually spend the morning there, go into Cooke City for lunch and then a drive up onto Beartooth pass, then I spend the rest of the afternoon back in Lamar Valley. I would love to meet up with everyone if you plan a trip.

That would be a good time as well, I would imagine we will have to plan a couple trips in order to get most of those wanting to go up there.

Like I have mentioned I have now only been there twice, but I am in Love with Yellowstone, and I plan on going once a month for the next few months at least.

Depending on the number of people going, maybe we can get some Motel group rates...

I know I’m new to the club, but I would be interested in doing a group trip to Yellowstone if it could be planned near August/September time frame. I’ve been planning on doing a personal trip around that time anyhow. September is the time the Elk start their bugling and mating routines, as well as other animals, and the landscapes change colors drastically. I wish I could have gone in the spring time to see all the new born animals. What a sight that must have been.
I would be interested…keep me in touch

I'll check with the hubby, I know he wants to go in the fall. Last year we went over the 4th of july. Thats when we spotted that grizzley in the lupines. We like to stop by the Tetons and get some mountain shots. Last year a large heard of bufflo ram by, it was awesome!

I have not really thought of a date for a group thing, I am going back in a couple weeks, but I figured we could set this out there far enough so alot of people could go, I would think we should stay away from the Holiday weekends, My Schedule is pretty flexible, so l those interested could throw out some dates
