The Davis County Fair is fast approaching. Photo check in day is August 8th and the fair starts August 12th.

For those that don't know, I am the Chairman for the Photography Division for the Fair. Ron Boswell previously held this position until his passing early last year. The club has always supported the fair and has almost exclusively manned the event for years. It is not required to be a member of the club to help at the fair. We welcome all. We particularly solicit the help of the club members and encourage those that are able to help in the endeavor. Not only are you giving to the community but it is a great learning experience. You get to see some great work, learn how the judging process works(and how judges judge), and get to know fellow photographers.

Below is a list of the spots I need filled and the individuals who have already signed up(Thank you!!!). If I have you in the wrong spot, please let me know. You DO NOT need to be a resident of Davis County to help at the fair. Please post below any spots that you may be able to fill and we will update this post.

The next few days are sitting at the table answering questions. I need a 4 hour commitment and you get a t-shirt, free parking, free drinks, and a meal.

I can help 8 Aug for check-in. Not totally sure on wed or thurs. Pending job hunting it looks like a maybe for weds 4-8 and maybe thurs 12-8. Have to get a bit closer to be sure. XLarge.

There is quite a bit going on depend on the day. Here is a link that has the whole schedule.

Wednesday or Thursday would be good. Wednesday is the opening day and usually has the most people. A lot of people coming in to see how they did. Thursday is a little slower which is good also.

Shelly Archuletta is a lot of fun, plug me in to cover all the gaps Thursday looks like when you need help? What is going on out there to photograph before/after? (Am I using you for a "buttboy" please forgive my "NewYork"
