I need a room with 2 beds. I'm bringing my hubby, daughter and her baby (they will be out touring the park while we're out shooting so no crying baby.) If the rooms are only 1 bed oh well too bad for hubby he gets the floor. hehe.

So what are the dates that this looks like it is going to happen? I have been out of town for over a week and this sounds awesome! I have been camping about 4 times and have another still this weekend and am just about dead beat but would like to hit something with the club like this. And if it is to late for a motel or site or whatever was come up with it is ok I have a small cabin in Island Park and another on Hebkin Lake that I should be able to get into if it is not being used by other family.

I'm not going to be able to make it this time, so count me out.

Rob, Are the room rates for a two bed room. I am trying to figure out how many rooms we would require. CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, Commitments include Rob & Michelle, Doug, Shelly & ?, Joe Ford (camping I think), Myself. Possibles include Mark, Marie, Whit, Bob? We need to see if we can get commitments from everyone so that we can solidify the lodging plans.

This is the deal they just quoted me,

What does everyone think, its in Gardiner, Mt, 2 minutes from the Park Entrance, near Mammoth

I can give you group rate of 99.99 if you can book a minimum of 5 rooms. 4 or less I can give you a rate of $109.99. reg rate is $129.99

Rates around there have been running about $179.95 this time a year

here is there website http://www.yellowstonerooms.com/

Whit

its certainly not too lake, come join us

I am checking into http://twitter.com/ysptravelodge they took great care of me last time.

Joe

That sounds good too, I just want to stay in the Upper end of the park, like I talked about before, but you are right, we need to Firm this Up, and Make some Plans

this is going to be GREAT !!

Yes that is another option that we could look at as well. When I was online looking some of the cabins that sleep like 10-12 people (some just outside the park on north end) go for about 375.00 to 500.00 a night which is a pretty cheap hotel when divided amongst the group. Some of them come supplied with all the cooking amenities, breakfast food items, barbeque's, etc etc. But we would really have to roll on this as I am thinking its going to get really hard to get something available the dates we are going??? I am awaiting a email back from yellowstone park info on more detailed information on the slough creek and pebble creek campsites. If anyone else wants to jump in with options and or solutions feel free to throw them out there.

Is it too late to join this trip? I'd lIke to go. I know cabins in the park are cheaper than motels in west yellowstone....not sure if you've made a plan yet.

Whats everyones thoughts on being able to get reservations anywhere in the Park? My sister said a person at her work is going next week with this being said "a guy at work is going to Yellowstone next week camping, called 2 weeks ago and couldn’t get anything in a campground in the park. They got a spot at the Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone, MT, for the outrageous price of $56 to park a trailer." Maybe someone is more in tune with this than I???
