While filling up for gas the other day it struck me as odd to see the word "Self" on the gas pump sign. Are there any "Full" service stations anymore? It's been about 15 + years since I've seen any full service stations around here.

I worked at a gas station/farmers co-op when I was in college that was a "Full Service" gas station. As the cars pulled up, I would quickly fill the car with gas, check the oil and fluids, clean the windshield and check the air pressure in the tires. Now as I fill up my car the "attendant" sits in their air conditioned/heated shack and watches me as I fill the car with gas, check the oil and fluids, clean the windshield and check the air pressure in my tires. - Go figure

I like the blues in your pic.

I remember those days. I remember the transition stage where you had a choice at most gas stations for full service or self service with a few cents per gallon incentive to do it yourself. Then, there was no more full service.
If you go to Oregon or New Jersey you are NOT allowed to pump your own gas but they don't have the 'full service' of yesteryear.
