Fall Colors & Landscape Workshop
Presented by Corrie Southworth of Ambient Light Photography

Corrie will cover techniques for the best way to capture the fall colors using natural light.

This workshop will be followed by a Field trip the following morning.

It will in the early morning ~7:00 A.M. but the exact time and location are to be determined.

Come to one or the other or both but we hope you will join us for both.

Yeah I am not to worried about the Dark Side, if I ever want to progress as far as I would like to and have the best of the best when it comes to camera and lenses then I need to just stick with Canon hehe, it is just me thinking ahead :P

And the price that I was going off was a few on the web at the lowest and the price that I could get it from Inkleys atm. But if I even had that much to spend I would still stay with Canon because I like the logo. That is the most important factor right? lol.

Sorry that you missed the shoot and maybe see you on the next one :)

Rusty, beware if you go and play with that beast. Your migration to the dark side will be swift, almost MF quality in a 35mm package....That D3x is still sitting around 8k though...

lol yeah I do Doug until the day I die lol. But this is a 6k+ camera and it is a cool even that you need to get invite to to be able to participate in or so I was told I have no idea I have not been to one yet. But it is 11:36 and I am STILL debating lol.

Here are the directions that Corrie gave me:
Head up I-84 (Weber Canyon)
Take the Huntsville exit(I think it's by or just before Mt. Green)
After you are heading North up into the mountains(before this there is a jog in the road and you drive a couple miles up an old highway) go about 5 miles. and on the left(West) there is a Snowbasin turn off. Head down this road about 1 mile to the 'East Fork Overlook'
We will be at this overlook until about 8 a.m.

I may not be able to make it now I have no idea for sure or not though yet. So don't plan on me for a car pool as stated earlier. I will go if plans fall through but if I don't go I will be at the Nikon shoot in Park City that I have been invited to shooting a Nikon D3X with a 400mm Prime hehe. (unless Sean beats me to it) But don't know for sure yet. I will keep you posted :)

I was hoping to make it but have 2 shoots scheduled tomorrow now...One with Clinton Fire Dept and Sunset FD is having their open house from 3 to 6pm....

I will be able to car pool as well. I can seat 12 if needed but have just the two rows of benches right now in the van so 8 or 9. I live in Ogden just bellow the mouth of Ogden Canyon but I can meet anywhere if needed. Maybe the Park and Ride at the mouth of Weber? Let me know.
